Snow Runner (Nayat) is a natural hair with a characteristic stiffness that makes it indispensable for tying large flies. It’s significantly more resilient than llama or Icelandic sheep hair — which means: no tangling, no matting, and maximum control.

In the water, it performs brilliantly. Even the slightest movement gives the fly a pulsating, lifelike action that clearly stands out compared to other materials. Properly arranged on the hook, it allows you to create a large, full-looking fly using less material.

Anyone who fishes for pike on the fly knows how hard it is to combine high volume with low weight. With Snow Runner, it’s possible. Flies tied with it are lightweight and almost dry once pulled from the water — which means easier, more accurate casting.
